I accept the fact that sometimes, when faced with unfortunate, unexpected circumstances, you have to just throw your hands up, wash them of things and move forward, leaving it all behind.
What’s tough is figuring out when to do that, instead of sticking with it and ironing things out, making it work, or at least figuring out what the hell went so awry. ‘Cause you can’t spend your whole life running away. At least, I don’t want to do that.
I have to do something meaningful. I must.
Normally, I think writers (and bloggers moreso) give themselves way to much credit… If your website and/or writing can’t speak for itself and it doesn’t readily apply to other people in various situations, you’re doing it wrong. Unless your goal is only to record personal diary-like recollections, for your own benefit… And hey, there’s nothing wrong with that.
So I think Lollarville has an advantage, being built with this in mind. But it doesn’t mean I can’t share its background and more about myself, for my benefit and for anyone interested.
